Blue Beds was founded in early 2004 by Dean Yeadon,
who after nearly 18 years in the hospitality industry,
as a luxury hotel operator, realized that there was a
shift in the leisure accommodation market toward luxury
self catered or serviced apartments.
Dean has extensive experience in the hotel industry and with his international network of tour operators and innovative marketing approach has successfully managed to achieve some of the highest occupancy rates in all the hotels where he was involved , most recently as the CEO of Halcyon Hotels who managed amongst others The Bay Hotel in Camps Bay, Tarangire TreeTops in Tanzania and Ras Nungwi Beach Hotel in Zanzibar. |
 The Blue Beds operating model has taken all the best aspects of running a luxury niche hotel and implemented them in the way we service and market our apartments. Bluetiques is a unique concept where a complete apartment building is run and managed like a small luxury hotel on behalf of the apartment owners. We are all about flexibility as we believe that guests should get what they want when they want. |
