Blue Beds was founded in early 2004 by Dean Yeadon,
who after nearly 18 years in the hospitality industry,
as a luxury hotel operator, realized that there was a
shift in the leisure accommodation market toward luxury
self catered or serviced apartments.
Dean has extensive experience in the hotel industry and with his international network of tour operators and innovative marketing approach has successfully managed to achieve some of the highest occupancy rates in all the hotels where he was involved , most recently as the CEO of Halcyon Hotels who managed amongst others The Bay Hotel in Camps Bay, Tarangire TreeTops in Tanzania and Ras Nungwi Beach Hotel in Zanzibar.
